Ice-breaker
- Have you ever taken part in an event to raise money for charity? Was it successful?
- In Spain, is it common to raise money through sport events, etc?
- Imagine: you have 1,000 pounds to give to a charity - would you prefer to give to a charity a) supporting homeless people; b) researching cures to diseases or c) helping people take part is sports? Why?
- Do you think that it is important for children to have playing fields and other sports facilities they can use? WHy or why not? Or is it better to use the land for much-needed housing?
